The Phokeng Project
 Just minutes from downtown Rustenburg and a stone’s throw from the Royal Bafokeng Stadium where many major athletic games take place you will find numerous orphaned children living in child-led homes. Everyday after school, as many as 70 children come to the after-care facility to receive food, fellowship and encouragement.The Phokeng project is doing well. In our last newsletter we asked for funding to help close in the carport for the after-care facility for the kids and we are happy to say that we were given two very generous donations to make that happen. Below are pictures of what the building now looks like. The walls still need to be plastered and doors and windows need to be purchased but we trust the Lord to bring in the funds for that as well. For those who so generously give to these projects, we appreciate you more than you could ever know. The next phase will be to paint and tile, put in shelves, purchase a fridge and freezer to store the donated foods and produce and to put a blackboard up in the classroom. If anyone is interested in assisting with this, please feel free to email or call us. From there we hope to plant grass, and put up jungle-gyms to create a nice play area for the kids.
