| In Acts 2:47, the Lord was adding to the church day by day those who were being saved. Throughout the New Testament, believers were continually added to the church. So it is now. The word added in Acts 2:47 is the Greek word prostithemi. pros means on, to tithemi means to put in place, lay, set in proper order We see in scripture that as people were added to the church, they found their place in the body of Christ. They were identified with Christ and His church.
