Fellowship
| Christianity is a relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ. The Greek word koinonia means to participate, partake, joined together, share (concept of covenant). God wants to be active in our lives and for us to share in His life. Koinonia is translated as the following - participation 2 Cor 8:1-4 sharing 1 Cor 10:14-20 fellowship 1 Cor 1:9 Fellowship is expressed in two forms - vertical fellowship with God and horizontal fellowship with people. When we get one of these areas of fellowship out of sorts, it affects the other as well. For instance, when husbands don't deal with their wives in an understanding manner, 1 Peter 3:7 tells us that our prayers to God can be hindered.
